Psalm 91—He can hold all the trust I have to give him.
"All who long to be home, who need to be safe, Can shelter in his hiding place."
Rendition of Psalm 91
All who long to be home, who need to be safe, Can shelter in his hiding place; Can dwell in safety and pass their lives Under the shadow of the Almighty. God is a refuge and a fortress. He can hold all the trust I have to give him. He delivers me from the pitfalls in my path, And from the disaster and disease That walk abroad in the world. He will surround me with his pinions And protect me in the hollow of his wings. His faithfulness is the shield and wall around me. So I will not fear what others fear: Neither terror by night, nor arrows by day; Neither the plague that walks in darkness, Nor the catastrophe that suddenly appears In the bright light of noonday. Though a thousand fears surround me And ten thousand fall at my right, The Lord will still shelter me When he brings his requital to the wicked. No evil can find me here. No plague can hunt me In the hiding place of God. The Lord will command his angels To protect me, to hold me, to lift me up So that my feet do not strike stone, So that I will tread on lions and beasts And trample the dragon. The Lord says, “Because he loves me, I will save him. I will clasp him to me Because he has been called by my name. He will call and I will answer. When trouble stalks him, I will be there. I will rescue him. I will surround And shine around him. I will satisfy his needs and he will live. And at last he will see my salvation.”

Hi Andy! I've not been on the Darkling Psalter for a while because I decided I would wait for you to come out with more things. I'll be in Acts for a while, but that's beside the point. I wanted to tell you that I have started my own Substack. Here is the link:

(currently only has 2 poems, I will write more)
Lovely and comforting
