Psalm 75—Even in the closest moments, you are nearer than you seem.
"At just the right time I will judge all things and make not a single mistake."
Rendition of Psalm 75
We give you thanks, Lord, For even in the closest moments, You are nearer than you seem. What can we do but wonder at your works? You said: “At just the right time I will judge all things And make not a single mistake. For though the whole earth sways And staggers, I am steady And it was I who set its pillars. I said to the proud: boast of nothing. I said to the wicked: cease your insolence. Do not lift yourselves over your fellows Or connive to set a crown on your head. For it is not from the east or the west, Nor from the schemes of men, That greatness comes, but God is the judge. I lay one low and lift another up, And in my hand, there is a cup of wine That boils and foams and makes men stagger. I will hold it to the lips of the wicked And they will drain it to the dregs.” But as for us, we will stand witness To God when his swift justice falls, When he overthrows the strength of the wicked, And shows himself to all Who have suffered and waited And prayed for him to lift them up.

You express the heart of this Psalm so precisely that I felt I was swirling until "just the right time" and both I and the words came to a complete, sudden, yet unexpectedly sweet stop. I'm not a psalm expert, but I imagine that. Psalms should make you feel closer to God. Not all the Psalms make me feel this way. However, your rendition of Psalm 23 and this particular Psalm made me feel very close to God- it wasn't an intellectual experience but a kind of energy created by your words.
