I love how stanza 1 of your poem interprets the wilderness in the modernness of the pursuits you allude to (and how your imagining of it provides freshness to all the narcissus-talk around social media and its purpose/effects).
The echo-voice’s arrival & words remind me of Francis Thompson’s “The Hound of Heaven” -- a tale that isn’t that far off from any of us at any point in history is it?
This is one of the psalms that’s been extra special to me throughout my life. It’s going to take me a while to read through and digest it, but I’m excited/grateful for the opportunity to see it through new eyes.
